Presented by Don Whittecar
Don Whittecar, an individual with a disability, shares his journey of how
he became self employed. Don established an engraving and photography
company called Taiowa Images. He carved out a niche
where he did still photography of animal behavior for wildlife
biologist research studies. In this interview, Don talks about the importance
of networking and having a support system. As Don explains, it's difficult
to learn all the
facets to his trade and what he does. But it is essential in order
for him to succeed.
And in his own words,
"I compete on an even playing field with those persons who do not have disabilities. And that's the way I want it."
